MSD Journal of Skin, Reconstructive and Aesthetic, Plastic Surgery is an online, peer-reviewed journal that covers fostering academic communication and interdisciplinary research among providers engaged in various forms related to surgery and related fields, peer-reviewed, open-access journal on clinical and pre-clinical research. It publishes article types including Research Papers, Reviews, Editorials, Communications, etc. We aim to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. The full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced.

There is, in addition, a unique feature of this journal: it accepts studies showing meaningful but negative results. While many journals focus on clinical studies, only a few of them actively accept negative results. As a result, most negative data end up not being in the public domain even if the data were meaningfully negative and the study was well designed. By accepting those negative results, our journal encourages scientists to share those data so that they would not need to repeat the experiments that somebody else has already carried out.

MSD Journal of Skin, Reconstructive and Aesthetic, Plastic Surgery is a scientific peer-reviewed open-access journal that covers high-quality manuscripts both relevant and applicable to the broad field of knowledge relating to the field of surgery and in particular plastic and cosmetic surgery. This journal encompasses the study related to publishing, critically appraising, and disseminating science and research that matters for all patients and all populations. The main objective of this journal is to maintain and develop science and related research at an international level. To achieve this, we provide an opportunity to share information among scientists, researchers, and readers across the globe that can be accessed freely through the internet.
