MSD Journal Information

MSD Archives of Anatomy, Physiology, Embryology and Cell Biology, a broad-based journal was founded on two key tenets: To publish the most exciting research concerning the subjects of Cell Biology and Developmental Biology. Secondly, to provide a rapid turn-around time possible for reviewing and publishing and to disseminate the articles freely for research, teaching, and reference purposes. In today's wired world information is available at the click of a button, curtsey the Internet.

MSD Archives of Anatomy, Physiology, Embryology and Cell Biology -Open Access gives a worldwide audience larger than that of any subscription-based journal in the MSD Publications field, no matter how prestigious or popular, and probably increases the visibility and impact of published work. Research International Journal of Anatomy, Embryology, and Cell Biology -Open Access gives barrier-free access to the literature for research. It increases convenience, reach, and retrieval power. Free online literature is available for software that facilitates full-text searching, indexing, mining, summarizing, translating, querying, linking, recommending, alerting, "mash-ups" and other forms of processing and analysis.

MSD Archives of Anatomy, Physiology, Embryology and Cell Biology -Open Access puts the rich and the poor on an equal footing for these key resources and eliminates the need for permissions to reproduce and distribute content. MSD Publications is ardent to Open Access. We strongly believe that removing barriers to research published online will greatly aid in the progress of MSD Publication's scientific and technical disciplines. MSD Archives of Anatomy, Physiology, Embryology and Cell Biology -Open Access puts the rich and poor on an equal footing for these key resources and eliminates the need for permissions to reproduce and distribute content. Research International Journal of Anatomy, Embryology, and Cell Biology publishes original papers, invited review articles, and book reviews. Its main focus is to understand anatomy through an analysis of structure, function, development, and evolution. Priority will be given to studies that clearly articulate their relevance to the anatomical community.

Focal areas include experimental studies, contributions based on molecular and cell biology, and the application of modern imaging techniques and papers with novel methods or synthetic perspectives on an anatomical system. Studies that are essentially descriptive anatomy are appropriate if they communicate a broader functional or evolutionary significance. Articles covering bioinformatics and other topics that clarify or provide tools for functional anatomical understanding will also be sympathetically considered.

Aims and Scope :

MSD Archives of Anatomy, Physiology, Embryology and Cell Biology is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes original papers, invited review articles, and book reviews. Studies that are essentially descriptive anatomy are appropriate only if they communicate a broader functional or evolutionary significance. You must clearly state the broader implications of your work in the abstract.
