Carlos M. Fernández Giménez University of Salamanca, Flow Cytometry Core Education Teacher, Coordinator and Director of training and teaching flow cytometry at Flow Cytometry Core. Coordination and elaboration of individualized flow cytometry training and national and international seminars/workshops (more than 56 in the last ten years). International speaker at medicine and Scientific Congresses (more than 10 in last three years). Author and co-author of 10 papers published in most relevant medical journals of immunology and hematology:have excellent abilities to live & work with other people in multicultural environments.

I help people get their greatest work into the world. I do this by teaching flow cytometry and immunology focused on hematological disorders. I am an MD specialized in chemical chemistry with more than 10 years experience in the field of flow cytometry as a technique for improving the diagnosis of hematological diseases. I run workshops and trainings throughout Europe and Latin America and I also participate in seminars and conferences around the world. I spent one year collaborating as a fellow in Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center, Ohio, under the leadership of Marc Rothenberg. This work was focused on eosinophil disorders in basic and clinical research. Since 2005, I have helped more than 600 people from technicians, MD, residents and physicians in hematology to chairmen of department to develop their skills in the diagnosis of hematological diseases using flow cytometry. I learn and adapt easily to new techniques and I was part of a team who introduced immunocytochemistry techniques to complement diagnostic tests for haematological malignancies.
