Aamir Jalal Al-Mosawi is advisor in pediatrics and pediatric psychiatry at the Children Teaching Hospital of Baghdad Medical City. He is an expert trainer at the National Training and Development Center of the Iraqi Ministry of Health. He was the Head of Iraq Headquarter of Copernicus Scientists International Panel (2006-October, 2020). Currently he is the Iraqi pediatrician and hospital-based clinician with the highest H-index at Scopus. He was the founding editor of the first Iraqi international peer-reviewed medical journal “The New Iraqi Journal of Medicine (2005-2013)” which is the first Iraqi medical to be included in Scopus. He is member of the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) since 2004, and also of the Eastern Mediterranean association of Medical editors (EMMAME) since 2004.

He is also member of the advisory council the International Association of Medical Colleges (IAMC), since 2008. He served as a reviewer for many international peer-reviewed medical journals including The BMJ, Acta pediatrica Nephrology, Medical Science Monitor , Therapy (Clinical practice), The Lancet, Journal of pediatric neurology, Southern medical journal, Clinical Anatomy, International Brazilian Journal of Urology, International Journal of Dermatology, Fundamental & Clinical Pharmacology, International Journal of Infections in the Developing World, Journal of Renal Nutrition. Gianfranco Puoti Today Dr. Puoti is clinical and scientific Director of the Regional Human Prion Diseases Diagnosis and Surveillance Centre and Director of the Center for Cognitive Disorders and Dementias (CDCD), at Department of Advanced Medical and Surgical Sciences of University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”, Italy. Over the last fifteen years, Dr. Puoti focused his research activity on the study of phenotype-genotype correlations in prion diseases and prion strains phenomena.

He first reported the co-occurrence of different types of PrPSc in the same brain of sporadic Creutzfeld-Jakob Disease (Puoti G. et al. Neurology 1999), and familial Creutzfeld-Jakob Disease (Puoti G. et al. Annals of Neurology 2000). In that direction, he subsequently demonstrated that different PrPSc types induce different microglial activation in Creutzfeld- Jakob Disease (Puoti G. et al. J Neuropath Exp Neurol 2005), suggesting that different conformers of the same protein cause neurodegeneration through different pathogenic pathways.

Recently he demonstrated that tau in cerebro-spinal fluid is superior to 14-3-3 protein as a marker in the diagnosis of Creutzfeldt- Jakob disease (Hamlin et al. Neurology 2012) and characterized a novel prion disease named “Variable Proteinase Sensitive Prionopathy (VPSPr)” (Zou WQ et al. Ann Neurol 2010). Dr. Rukset Attar is currently working as a Professor in the Department of IVF / Gynecology and Obstetrics at Yeditepe University Hospital, Turkey. She was graduated from the Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1992. She did her specialization in Zeynep Kamil Gynecology and Child Diseases Training and Research Hospital (1997). She also served as a Research Assistant in the Department of Reproductive Endocrinology, and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale University School of Medicine, Connecticut, USA. She is a member of the Turkish Gynecology Association, Molecular Medicine Association Stem Cell and Gene Therapy Association, Kad?köy Anatolian High School Alumni Association. She has published over 100 publications as well as chapters and books.

Biography:

Giovanni Dapri is a Professor of Anatomy at the University of Mons (Belgium) and Professor of Surgery at the University of Brussels (Belgium). He is the Founder and Director of the International School Reduced Scar Laparoscopy. He is Course Chair of the different Laparoscopic Courses (Single Incision, Bariatric Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, and Abdominal Wall Surgery).

In his academic career, he has edited 5 surgical books, published more than 140 scientific articles and more than 80 book chapters. During International and National Congresses, he has performed more than 100 laparoscopic procedures in front of the audience in foreign countries and presented more than 450 oral presentations. He invented in 2008 an instrument set to operate in Single Incision Laparoscopy, and in 2013 an instrument set to perform the TransAnal Minimally Invasive Surgery. He is member of the Editorial Board of 49 Scientific Journals; member of Executive Committee of the American College of Surgeons (ACS), member of Scientific Committees of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), and member of Scientific Committees of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS).

He is President of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Belgian Chapter. He is a Faculty Member of the Courses held at IRCAD (France, Taiwan, Brazil), at LapSurg Institut (Sao Paulo, Brasil), at MISC-ASIA (Singapore) and at Cuschieri Skills Centre (Dundee, Scotland). Dr. Alfio Ferlito is Professor and Chairman of the ENT Clinic at the University of Udine School of Medicine from 1997. Boris A. Kobrinskii, PhD., professor was born in 1944 in Moscow (Russia). In 1970 he graduated from the 2nd Moscow State Pirogov Medical Institute (now N.I. Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University (Moscow, Russia), in 1987 – Department of Medical and Biological Cybernetics of Moscow Institute (now the Technical University) of Radioengineering, Electronic and Automation. In 1973 began to apply computer science in medical diagnostic. In 1975 – 2015 worked in the Moscow Research Institute for Pediatrics and Children's Surgery (Russia), since 1983 head the new information technologies center.

Currently working head of the clinical decision support systems laboratory of Problem Artificial Intelligence Institute of Federal Research Center “Computer Science and Control” of Russian Academy Science. In 1989 – 1996 he taught computer science in medicine in the department of health and social problems of maternal and child health of the Central Institute for Postgraduate Doctors (later the Russian Medical Academy Postgraduate Education), since 2007 professor of Medical Cybernetics and Informatics departments of Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University.

The scientific works of prof. BA Kobrinskii contributed significantly to solving the problems of medical cybernetics and informatics for clinical genetics and monitoring the health of children. As a result of research at the crossroads of pediatrics and informatics created a new scientific direction for a comprehensive dynamic analysis of child health in the process of monitoring computer. He moved the concept of the continuum – transition states of the developing organism and proposed its implementation on the basis a single information, medical and social space using complex mathematical methods and models. The proposed approach was the development of the doctrine of the predisposition to disease. Under the guidance and with his participation created: computer system of medical examination of the child population DIDENAS, Russia's first computer genetic register (1990), the first domestic expert system for the diagnosis of hereditary diseases children DIAGEN. In 1999 organized a Russian computer monitoring of congenital malformations.

In 2002 carried out the development and implemented at all levels of health care software system. Formed a federal database that includes information about the health of nearly 30 million children. Since that time, monitoring permits to obtain new information about the features of the prevalence of diseases and their dynamics, the effectiveness of interventions. In 2001 under his leadership and active personal participation was implemented first national disaster telemedicine system and organized regular teleconsultation support field hospital physicians. The main directions of research is the development of theoretical and applied aspects of the development of Intelligent decision support systems (knowledge engineering, argumentation, fuzzy logic). Under his leadership, made 6 doctoral and 13 master's theses. He is the author/co-author of over 300 articles, 11 monographs, reference book, 3 textbooks.

I performed more than 200 major hepatobiliary procedures (open, laparoscopic, or robotic).
I pioneered the use of very old donors in liver transplantation (reporting the first series of nonagenarian grafts), and the use of ex-situ machine perfusion and DCD donors in Italy.  I became an expert in quality management systems, accreditation, and performance evaluation in healthcare. I am a member of the Regional Authority for Organ Failure and of the Quality Management Group of the University of Pisa Medical School Hospital.
